Week 13
Remaining Outcomes:
32
Well, it seemed that this week only mattered for one competitor. Everyone else watched peacefully from the sidelines.
The Picks
The Analysis
One man show: Jacob found himself in a win-or-go-home situation this week, and he delivered. His preseason gamble paid off as the only player to predict an Eagles win over the Ravens, giving him a much-needed boost up the leaderboard. He’s now neck-and-neck with Buhduh and Pop in the race for second place. Meanwhile, Sarah remains steadfast in her role as FEP’s caboose conductor. Someone has to hold it down, and she's doing it with grace.
6 competitors, 4 individuals: Ladies and gentlemen, we are witnessing the formation of FEP’s newest superteam. Okay, maybe “super” is a stretch, but Jacob and Pop’s fates have officially intertwined, giving us Jop—a name as wobbly as their combined performance. Though their paths to this point couldn’t have been more different, they now find themselves paddling the same boat. Meanwhile, Buhduh and Sarah are the only two remaining competitors with some damn independence. Can I get an Amen!
Other storylines:
Rebrand alert: After much spirited debate at FEP HQ, Team Jemer will now be known as Team Jaymer. A fresh name for a team hoping to rewrite history—or at least avoid a repeat of last year.
Second-Place Leaderboard: With a quiet week behind us, it’s the perfect time to unveil the highly anticipated (and highly disappointing, for some) standings for second place:
Nathan - 88.4%
Jen - 32.1%
Jaymer - 31.6%
Jop - 24.7%
Buhduh - 23.9%
Sarah. 15.6%
Amir - 6.2%
Apologies to Andy, Hanan, and Marsha, who have been mathematically eliminated from the second-place race. No third-place standings will be published—truthfully, because Marsha has already been eliminated from those as well.
Looking Ahead: The FEP is taking another bye week with everyone banking on an Eagles victory over the Panthers. We’ll reconvene in Week 15 for the Battle of PA.
