Week 1
Remaining Outcomes:

It's only been one week, but we already have some serious movement on the leaderboard.
As you'll see in the standings this week, positivity has prevailed.
The Picks
The Analysis
Flip-flop: The top three competitors on the weighted leaderboard have completely changed after just one week. Last week, it was Jacob, Pop, and Andy. This week, it's Jay, Sarah, and Hanan.
The truth isn't always fair: Despite correctly picking the Eagles to beat the Packers, Pop has fallen all the way to fifth place on the weighted leaderboard, which is likely due to shifts in the Eagles' chances to win certain games (as set by the ESPN Matchup Predictor). This phenomenon also impacted Jen, whose weighted percentage dropped 0.8% despite picking correctly. As it turns out, the FEP Prediction Algorithm is quite unpredictable.
New #1: Let's all put our jealousy aside to congratulate Jay on reaching #1 on the weighted leaderboard in just his first week in the FEP. His irresponsibly positive outlook on the Eagles' season is paying off early now that ESPN only has the Eagles as underdogs against the Bengals, Cowboys (away), and Ravens. Even in those three games, the Eagles' chances to win are 49.3%, 49.4%, and 47.4%, respectively. Two of the three losses that Jay picked this year are the Cowboys (away) and the Ravens.
Other highlights:
Second is the best?: Sarah sits closely behind the top spot in both the weighted and straight leaderboards. She's the only top 5 competitor to show promising consistency across both leaderboards.
Serves them right: The competitors that picked an Eagles loss in week 1 have suffered the consequences. Buhduh, Jacob, Nathan, Marsha, and Andy now sit #6, #7, #10, #11, and #12, respectively.
Look out below: Amir has redeemed himself after starting the season in last place on both leaderboards. He's slowly climbing, now sitting in 8th place on both.
All eyes are on Pop next week as the only competitor to pick an Eagles loss. We'll have to wait to see where his risky decision takes him.
